The journal "Intelligent systems. Theory and Applications" ("Intellektual'nye Sistemy. Teoriya i Prilozheniya") has been published since 1996, ISSN 2411-4448 (until 2014 the journal was called "Intelligent Systems", ISSN 2075-9460).

Aim and Scope

The journal Intelligent Systems. Theory and Applications publishes original research at the intersection of discrete mathematics, theory of computation, and problems arising in the design of intelligent systems. The main areas covered by the journal include automata theory, computational complexity, circuit complexity and synthesis, many-valued logic and clone theory, machine learning and pattern recognition, coding theory, and information security. In addition, the journal regularly publishes applied work from related fields — mathematical biology, mathematical economics, signal processing, modeling of physical processes, computer-aided learning, and others — provided it draws on the mathematical framework central to the journal's scope. Each issue reflects three interconnected levels of research: the general theory of intelligent systems, specific types of intelligent systems, and the underlying mathematical apparatus.

Publication Frequency

The publication frequency is 4 times a year, circulation is 200 copies.
